The ASCE Library provides online access to a high-quality collection of civil engineering content. It contains articles from ASCE journals, papers from conference proceedings, and e-books and standards. The ASCE Library contains selected e-books from 1998 to the present, including all in-print ASCE Manuals of Practice and ASCE Press titles.

Business Source Complete | EBSCO
Business Source Complete is the world's definitive scholarly business database, providing the leading collection of bibliographic and full text content. As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included. In addition, searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,300 journals.

GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.

Knovel content includes interactive Books , process and design information, best practice insights, interactive graphs and tables, material and substance properties data, and equations and formulations for specific industries and engineering disciplines. Our subscription does not include all of the titles in Knovel; if there is a padlock icon next to a title, that means we do not have access to that e-book or article in Knovel.

This is a detailed summary of the procedures, time and costs to build a warehouse in United Arab Emirates. It includes obtaining necessary licenses and permits, completing required notifications and inspections and obtaining utility connections. This information was collected as part of the “Doing Business project”, which measures and compares regulations relevant to the life cycle of a small- to medium-sized domestic business in 189 economies. The most recent round of data collection was completed in June 2015.

National Institute of Building Sciences (U.S.)

Society of Construction Law (Gulf)

Society of Engineers – UAE

UAE Contractors’ Association
The UCA has been able to register several achievements since its inception in September 1985. It has cooperated with municipalities and professional bodies to assist in continuing task of developing a building and safety code for the UAE construction industry. This function is executed through the UCA’s Technical Consultative Committee. The UCA is also an institutional member of the Federation of Arab Contractors and the Federation of Islamic Contractors.
